Intellectual Ventures is creating a new asset class; one that is based on Intellectual Property. The company’s business model is based on creating value within its ecosystem by sourcing vast amounts of innovations from its global inventor network, strategically and logically organizing these ideas into consumer centric portfolios, and creating a global marketplace for the licensing and sale of these ideas and portfolios. The talk will focus on the history of Intellectual Ventures, its global operations, its methodology of sorting good, bad and ugly, and overall licensing model.
