From an economic standpoint, our industry generates $2 billion in economic activity each and every year and has created more than 14,000 jobs in total – most of those in rural Canada. At the same time, renewable fuels production will help to reduce GHG emissions by over 4.2 mega-tonnes. This is the equivalent of taking over 1 million cars off the road each and every year.
