Speaker "Mark P. Walters is a patent attorney with extensive trial and appellate experience in complext intellectual property cases.  He has represented agricultural interests in ligitation involving genetically modified seeds, including the petitioner, Vernon Hugh Bowman, in Bowman v. Monsanto No. 11-796, a case involving the issue of patent exhaustion in the context of seeds and other self-replicated technologies.
