Trademark Paralegal

Aastha joined MBM in November 2022 as a Trademark Paralegal. Her main responsibilities include all matters relating to trademarks from filing to registration, as well as assisting with office action responses, oppositions and counter statements.

Aastha has a Master’s degree in Law with a specialization in Intellectual Property from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in New Delhi, India, and she is currently working towards becoming a registered Canadian Trademark Agent.

In her spare time, Aastha loves paddle boarding, and she thinks that hydrotherapy can solve almost any problem. Community involvement is also very important to Aastha; she is constantly involved in different projects. One of her recent projects was a big food drive organized by Khalsa Aid in Ottawa.
