My life outside of work

I love the outdoors, especially camping and hiking. Breathing fresh air, enjoying the beauty of rivers and lakes, and looking for the creatures that live in these areas (like salamanders and frogs) make life exciting and keep me grounded. Since I’m a fair-weather camper, once the weather turns colder (for about eight months here in Kingston, Ontario), I turn to my indoor hobbies: knitting, reading, and watching movies.

My other passion benefits not only me but my family and friends as well. I love to bake, but not just any baking, I especially love to design and create custom made cakes and cupcakes. It brings me joy to help celebrate someone’s birthday with a specially designed cake. I love creating cute animal cupcakes for kids’ birthdays, it amazing to watch the kids’ faces light up when they see their treats!
