My Background and Focus

Alex joined MBM’s finance and billings team in June 2025 as a Client Finance Specialist. His responsibilities include working with professionals and paralegals to process monthly billings as well as collections of accounts receivables.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Fundamentals and Methodology of Education from the University of USILACS in Florida and has obtained his TESOL certification for teaching English as a foreign language.

Before joining MBM, he spent a significant portion of his career as an educator with nearly a decade of experience in the education industry, particularly in ESL, teaching English in China. His education, together with his experience running his own tutoring company, where he wore many hats as a business owner, including managing accounting for his business, has enabled Alex to develop strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and financial management skills.

In his free time, he enjoys cooking, especially with his wife. It is not only fun, but they always end up with a great meal! Alex also has a passion for all things British. Whether it’s reading literary classics or watching period pieces, Alex is a true Anglophile. For him, relaxation is a good home-cooked meal and a great BBC series like “As Time Goes By”, “All Creatures Great and Small”.  He also enjoys reading Jane Austin novels like: Sense and Sensibility, Emma, and Pride and Prejudice and watching TV or movie adaptations of her novels.
