My Background and Focus
Caroline is a Senior Paralegal with the firm’s Patent Prosecution team. Caroline has extensive knowledge of Canadian and foreign patent practice, including PCT procedure, covering all aspects of patent filing, administration and client service. She regularly corresponds with Canadian and foreign clients, as well as foreign associates, on many aspects of patent formalities and prosecution. Caroline is also involved with the filing and prosecution of industrial designs and coordinates the general prosecution of large international patent portfolios.

My life outside of work
In my spare time, I love to dive into an exciting spy novel or a historical fiction book by Andrew Taylor, stories that transport you through time and space. As a huge fan of musicals, I will find every opportunity to get together with my mom and sister to attend one of the performances through Broadway Across Canada, a fabulous night out!
During the summer and fall months, I love to take off for a hike in Gatineau Park. Hiking, especially with family or friends, it’s a great way to connect with nature – and people! When I can’t find a hiking buddy, I’ll find a walking trail and set my music to 70’s rock or 80’s pop (my favourite genres) and enjoy the solitude!

- If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you buy? Cottage and a boat somewhere in Ontario
- If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be? French fries, chocolate and coffee
- Would you rather live for a week in the past or the future? The past because I love the Victorian era, and I’ve always wanted to be a Dutchess
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? The UK (more Dutchesses there lol)
