My life outside of work

I divide my downtime into two categories: active and passive. Watching funny cat videos with my son, doing puzzles, colouring, and reading my daily horoscope (I love astrology!) are definitely relaxing and more passive activities.

My active time is spent working out at the gym and going for nature walks in the woods. Working out is my ‘in the zone’ time when I quiet my mind and get focused. Even though I am being active, my mind is relaxing – it’s crazy how that much activity can bring such calm!

When I’m at home, I love to cook, especially soups, stews, and my latest specialty – Indian food. Cooking is such a creative activity, but the best part is being able to share my food with my family and friends!
