My Background and Focus
Grant joined MBM in March 2023. His practice focuses on assisting clients with drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
Grant has expertise in optical, green energy, nanomaterial, and quantum technologies. Prior to joining MBM, he led and was broadly involved in research projects spanning these technology areas. As an author of more than 50 scientific publications, Grant has been designated a Clarivate Cross-Field Highly Cited Researcher. Having also worked in a research hospital, he has experience drafting patent applications in the biomedical and health sciences fields.
Grant is a Registered Patent Agent in Canada and has limited recognition to represent Canadians in patent matters before the USPTO.
In his spare time, Grant enjoys exploring nature, travelling, climbing, knitting, and studying Latin.
