My Background and Focus
I joined MBM in 2025 as an Office Administrator, where I manage a variety of tasks to keep the office running smoothly. My day-to-day responsibilities include processing incoming CIPO mail, coordinating outgoing courier services, forwarding and saving invoices to the appropriate departments, and helping transition physical files into electronic format. I enjoy the variety in my role and the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of the office.
My background in the travel industry—first as an airline customer service and sales agent in Germany, and later as a corporate travel consultant in Ottawa—has prepared me well for MBM’s fast-paced environment. These roles taught me the importance of organization and attention to detail, which I believe are essential to success in efficient office operations. I also enjoy working directly with people and look forward to growing in my position while expanding my responsibilities.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about travel and spending time outdoors. At home in Ottawa or while exploring new destinations, I love cycling, hiking, kayaking, snorkelling, and cross-country skiing. I’m also an avid reader, with a particular interest in true stories—because, as I’ve learned, real life often turns out to be more fascinating than fiction. And when I need to feel creative, I take out my acrylic paints and have fun painting!
