My Background and Focus
Sabrina joined MBM in January 2018 as part of the Office Administration team, then quickly transitioned into a paralegal role, working with the Trademark team. In February 2025, she passed the Trademark Agent exam to become a Registered Canadian Trademark Agent. She is responsible for filing, prosecuting, and maintaining Canadian trademark applications and handling all the formalities for domestic and international clients.
Prior to starting at MBM, she graduated from Carleton University in June 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology.

My life outside of work
I am a super-active person! I love going to the gym, doing spin classes, hiking … anything that gets me moving, and it’s a bonus if it’s an outdoor activity – even in the Ottawa winter! I played competitive volleyball for 5 years and continue to play in local leagues throughout the year. I also love travelling, and I’m always planning my next trip.
My love of physical activity balances my love of baking. You can often find me in my kitchen trying out new cookie recipes. I love baking batches for family, friends, and my MBM crew. I’m always looking for interesting recipes, so if you have any favourite ones, send them over – the MBM team will thank you!
