My Background and Focus

Aaron joined MBM’s Trademark Department in Aug 2026 as a Trademark Agent & Lawyer. His approach is deeply rooted in providing clear, practical legal and trademark advice that places current and anticipated business operational realities and risk mitigation at the forefront, focusing on client education and understanding of the trademark strategy and advice. Aaron offers comprehensive support across all stages of the trademark lifecycle, including clearance and availability searches, application drafting & filing, prosecution of applications, and portfolio management. He also assists clients with trademark oppositions, summary expungement proceedings, assignments of rights, and long-term maintenance of trademark rights.

In addition to the day-to-day filing and prosecution of trademarks, Aaron acts for clients in various capacities surrounding the protection, commercialization, licensing, and enforcement of their trademarks and leverages his global experience and network to provide strategic trademark advice and protect clients’ brands in the key markets in which their products and services are sold.

Aaron also has broad, global commercial contracts experience with a specialization in intellectual property protection, commercialization, and licensing for large public and private multinational corporations and their subsidiaries, small and medium-sized enterprises, non-profits, start-ups, and various institutional clients and government entities. Aaron’s experience spans across a wide range of industries, including nutraceuticals, food & beverage, oil & gas, utilities, aviation, major league sports, retail, medical, pharmaceutical, and software & hardware.

A key part of his legal practice involves acting for clients to protect and commercialize their core technologies, related intellectual property assets, and data, whether in the context of daily operations, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, or other short- or long-term strategic partnerships.
